Since its founding in the Spring of 1982, the John Carroll University Blue-Gold Club has served the athlete - both past and present- through commitment to its mission: to support, promote, and recognize varisty athletics.

WHO JOINS BLUE-GOLD?

     Alumni, parents, friends, and boosters... anyone interested in becoming a part of and contributing to the continuation of John Carroll's successful athletic tradition.

     There are six different levels at which to give, each with a benefits package that increases with the donation amount: Blue-Gold ($50-$99), Head Coach ($100-$249), Athletic Director ($250-$499), Herb Eisele ($500-$999), All-American ($1000-$2499) and Hall of Fame ($2500+).

WHAT PURPOSE DOES BLUE-GOLD SERVE?

     Blue-Gold serves to raise much-needed revenue to supplement annual operations and capital budget to the JCU Athletic Department.  The goal is to provide the resources necessary to allow JCU athletes to compete at championship levels.  Past projects include:

     *Funding for the Varisty Weight  & Conditioning Room and Shula Stadium;

     *The contruction of the Blue-Gold Room;

     *The creation of PAC, OAC, and All-American recognition boards;

     *The purchase of equipment such as the Colorado timing system which allows JCU to host conference championship meets.

     The Club also sponsors alumni events for JCU teams, purchases T-shirts for Ohio Athletic Conference championship teams and plaques for teams that archive "Elite Eight" status.  The signature event for the Blue-Gold Club is the annual JCU Athletic Hall of Fame Ceremony.

     The Club strives to increase its presence and its contribution to student -athlete projects and purchases on a continual basis.

     Based on you contribution level, your benefits include free admission to all regular season JCU home athletic events and a quarterly newsletter to help keep you updated on JCU athletic news and events.

     Your support enables JCU student-athletes access to the facilities and equipment neccessary to compete at a consistently high level.  It fosters your relationship with the University as an active supports of JCU athletics.
