JCU Volleyball Game on October 27 Features SportsTime Ohio Broadcast And "Ladies Night"

The John Carroll volleyball team will host Ladies Night this Tuesday.

The John Carroll women’s volleyball team will host the Purple Raiders of Mount Union for Ladies Night on Tuesday, October 27 at 7 PM in the Tony DeCarlo Varsity Gym.

The event will be hosted by Women’s Health Day, “Proud to be Me,” and featured on SportsTime Ohio. The game will be broadcasted on STO by Art Antram and Jimmy Burry at 10 PM on October 27.

Ladies Night will feature several prizes and offers for any female who supports the Lady Blue Streaks on Tuesday. The first 100 female students who present an I.D. starting at 6:30 PM will receive a free JCU "Ladies Night/Proud to be Me" t-shirt. In addition, all ladies in attendance will receive a prize and a chance to win gift baskets.

The ladies of Gamma Phi Beta will also be hosting a 50/50 raffle which will benefit Campfire USA. Also, the Greek chapter with the highest attendance will receive a 100 dollar donation toward their philanthropy.

On July 15, 2000, Brian Unk became the first John Carroll graduate to win an event on the Canadian Professional Golf Tour, capturing the $125,000 Eagle Creek Classic, played at the par-72, 7,067-yard Eagle Creek Golf Club in Ottawa, Ontario.
