Men's Swimming & Diving Loses Battle Of Depth At Ohio Northern

John Carroll has many first and second place finishes Saturday afternoon, but in a dual meet setting did not have the depth to stay with Ohio Northern in a 186.5-113.5 loss in Ada.

Final Results

Eric Davis had a solid six-second win in the 200 Fly (2:06.38) as one of his two wins against the Polar Bears. He also won the 100 Fly in 54.80.

In 3-meter diving, Stanton Kochanek claimed the top spot with a score of 222.80 points.

JCU also had a first place finish in the final event of the day, the 200 Free Relay. The quartet of Davis, Drew Edson, David Perchinske, and Jimmy Ranallo touched the wall in 1:31.44. Perchinske had the fastest split in 22.41.

Of the Blue Streaks several second place efforts, Ranallo topped the chart by earning runner-up honors three times (1000 Free, 500 Free and 400 IM) and Blake Pinchot was second twice (100 back, 200 Back).
