Blake Furgerson Selected As Ohio Athletic Conference Men's Golfer Of The Week For Second Time
Blake Furgerson picked up his second OAC Player of the Week award thanks to winning the Mount Union Invitational

Blue Streak senior Blake Furgerson (Concord, OH, Lakewood St. Edward) was named the Ohio Athletic Conference Men's Golfer of the Week award winner following his excellent performance at the Mount Union Fall Invitational, where he succesfully helped John Carroll defend its winning title.
Furgerson won the event with a score of 139, including the lone under 70-round of the two-day tournament. His three-under-par total was seven strokes better than the runner up from host Mount Union.
Furgerson's stellar performance during the first day of the tournament helped the Blue Streaks win over Baldwin-Wallace with a score of 291. Although, Lake Erie College bested John Carrolls score with a 296 on the second day the Blue Streaks, led by Furgerson's effort, still won the overall title with a score of 597.
A senior marketing major, Furgerson is earning OAC Player of the Week accolades for the second time in his career and the second time this season
