All three John Carroll teams competing in Ohio Athletic Conference postseason tournaments this week are coming off wins in their final regular season contest, and hope to turn those modest winning streaks into major ones.
Women's Soccer
The John Carroll women's soccer team owns an 8-9-2 record overall, but the hidden gem is the 6-2-1 league mark that earned the Blue Streaks the #3 seed and the right to host the program's first postseason match since 2002.
Winners of three straight and six of their last eight, the Blue Streaks will host Heidelberg (7-11-1, 4-5-0 OAC) in a quarterfinal round match on Monday (today), November 2, at 2:00 p.m. at Shula Stadium. JCU defeated the 'Berg, 2-0, in a road match played back on October 13.

The winner of today's match will advance to the OAC Tournament semifinal round, where they will play at 2 seed Ohio Northern on Wednesday, November 4, at 2:00 pm. The OAC championship match will be played at the site of the highest remaining seed on Saturday, November 7, at a time to be determined.
Admission for all OAC Soccer Tournament matches shall be $5 for adults and $2 for non-OAC students. OAC students shall be admitted free of charge with valid school identification. OAC blue passes are not valid for the tournament.
Men's Soccer
Less than three weeks ago, John Carroll was winless through five league matches.
Heading into action this week, the injury riddled Blue Streaks are returning to good health and good play once again. Winners of three of their last four, including a 5-1 win at home this past Saturday over Muskingum, the Blue Streaks will be making their record 16th appearance in the PAC Tournament and their first as the #6 seed in the six-team field.
John Carroll (9-6-5 overall, 3-3-3 OAC) will visit crosstown rival Baldwin-Wallace (12-6-1, 7-1-1 OAC) in a quarterfinal round match-up on Tuesday, November 3, at 7:00 p.m. The two teams met last week with the Yellow Jackets edging the Streaks, 1-0.

Volleyball
John Carroll is hoping that its most recent win in an indication to expect the unexpected in this year's postseason. Coming off its first five-set victory of the year in which it trailed 0-2, JCU is looking to post its first postseason win since 2001, but face a mighty challenge in Ohio Northern in order to do so.
The Blue Streaks (12-16, 4-5 OAC) are the #6 seed in the OAC Tournament, and will face #3 seed Ohio Northern (25-3, 7-2 OAC) in a quarterfinal round match on Tuesday, November 3, at 7:00 p.m. in Ada, Ohio. In a match played their earlier this season between the Streaks and Polar Bears, Ohio Northern prevailed by in three games.

The winner of the JCU-Ohio Northern match advances to the OAC Tournament semifinal round, where they will face the winner of the #7 seed Marietta at #2 seed Mount Union match. The OAC Tournament semifinals and final will be staged at the site of the highest remaining seed following quarterfinal round play on Friday and Saturday, November 6-7.
For quarterfinals, admission shall be $5 for adults and $2.00 for non-OAC students.
For the semifinals on Friday, admission shall be $8.00 for adults and $2.00 for non-OAC students.
