Two Blue Streaks have been selected to play in Division III all-star games in the month of December.

Senior quarterback Jeff Javorek will play in the inaugural Division III Football Senior Classic All-Star game that will be held Saturday, December 5, 2009. The venue will be Salem Stadium, which in two weeks will host The Stagg Bowl -- the Division III football national championship game.

The Collegiate Developmental Football League is coordinating the first time contest that will showcase 90 players selected from 238 D-III football programs in the nation.

The game will feature a North vs. South distribution of players, with kick-off scheduled at 2 p.m. Javorek will play for the North squad.

Senior defensive end Ken Bevington will join his head coach Regis Scafe as part of Team Stars & Stripes that will face the Tec Monterrey All Stars in the 2009 Tazón de Estrellas (Bowl of the Stars) on Saturday, December 19 on the Tec de Monterrey Campus Estado de Mexico.

Team Stars & Stripes, comprised entirely of 51 NCAA Division III all-stars, will practice at the Tec Monterrey (CEM) facility in Atizapan de Zaragoza near Mexico City, from December 14 to 18 and will also visit the Aztec Pyramids and the nation's capital before facing their Mexican opponents.

Tec Monterrey is the premier private university system in Mexico, with campuses in numerous locations around the country. Tec teams have captured eight of the past ten Liga Major football national championships.
