Several Blue Streaks Named To Cleveland Adult Baseball Federation All-Star Team
Eggleton CABF
Chris Eggleton was one of three Blue Streaks to have an All-Star summer in the CABF

While the summer of discontent reigns in the land of the Cleveland Indians, not all baseball news coming from the city is bad. In fact, John Carroll baseball head coach Marc Thibeault has three big reasons to be happy about this baseball summer.

Junior pitcher Tom Schaberl, senior infielder Mike Carbo and junior Chris Eggleton were three of the four members of the Fairview Marlins baseball team that were selected to the 2009 Cleveland Adult Baseball Federation (CABF) American Division All-Star Team. This year's All-Star game was played on July 10.

The Fairview Marlins also can claim two other Blue Streaks on the roster -- junior pitcher Michael Eden and senior outfielder Bryan Robinett.
