The John Carroll University Rowing Team engaged in its first competition of the season on Saturday, February 13, scrimmaging Case Western Reserve University at the newly remodeled JCU Rowing Room. This indoor race was the first of its kind, with the men rowing 6000 meters and the women 5000. Each rower was paired against someone of comparable time, and one point was awarded to the team for every individual victory. JCU won the competition 7-4.
