Lee Jennings and her record-setting 2009-10 campaign got the attention of D3hoops.com regional voters
Junior guard/forward Lee Jennings (Stow, OH, Stow) continues to pick up the accolades after a brilliant 2009-10 campaign, with her most recent honor being her selection onto the All-Great Lakes Region third team.

It is the second time in her three-year career that Jennings had earned the honor from D3hoops.com, having been named to the All-Great Lakes Region second team after her freshman season.

Jennings saw most of her major statistical categories improve from a season ago, moving her way into the top ten in the conference in a handful of categories. Her 22.0 points per game, up from 14.4 points per game in 2008-09, was tops in the conference. She also led the conference in assists with 5.6 assists per game. She finished fourth in the OAC in steals, and was seventh in rebounding.

For her efforts, Jennings was named to the All-Ohio Athletic Conference first team, becoming the first Blue Streak to earn that honor since the 2006 season.

Her outstanding season saw her lead the team in scoring in 20 of their 25 games. Her 39 points in a victory over Otterbein on February 10th set a new school record for individual points in a game. She finished season on a year, averaging 27.1 points per game over her last seven games, including the season-ending loss to Baldwin-Wallace College in the quarterfinals of the OAC Tournament. Her total of 550 at the end of the campaign also set a school record.

Jennings has now earned All-OAC honors in each of his first three seasons, in addition to All-Great Lakes Region honors twice. Additionally, she was named the All-Great Lakes Region Rookie of the Year in 2007-08.
