Blue Streaks Tabbed To Finish Seventh In OAC Volleyball Coaches Poll

The JCU volleyball team hopes to have plenty to smile about in 2010
The John Carroll volleyball team was tabbed to finish seventh in the annual Ohio Athletic Conference preseason coaches poll.

In a vote of the league's ten head coaches where coaches are not allowed to vote on their own team, defending league champion Heidelberg was picked to finish first. The 'Berg amassed 79 points and seven first place votes. Perennial power Ohio Northern was next in line with 73 tallies and three first place votes.

John Carroll, which received 38 votes, returns four starters and ten letterwinners from last year's team that posted a 4-5 record in OAC play and placed tied for sixth in the final league standings.
