For the first time since 2012, the John Carroll women's cross country program has jumped back into the
U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) Division III Cross Country national rankings
Buoyed by a second place finish at the Ohio Athletic Championships last Saturday -- where the Blue Streaks actually tied for first place with #21 ranked Otterbein but did not win the title due to a tiebreaker -- John Carroll landed at the #34 spot in the NCAA Division III poll.

The last time John Carroll was ranked was on September 19, 2012. In that poll, the Blue Streaks were also slotted in the 34th spot.
In the final regular season regional poll, John Carroll is ranked fifth behind Hope, Calvin, Otterbein and Allegheny.
The Blue Streaks will see those four teams plus many others next Saturday, November 12, at the NCAA Division III Great Lakes Regional Championships meet, which will be held at Hope College in Holland, Michigan.
